Important Note:

Please note that, effective immediately the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program is accepting on-line registration. As a result of these recent system enhancements, the EEO program's e-mail competition distribution service has also been modified.

EEO registered candidates who wish to continue to receive competition notices when new employment opportunities within the New Brunswick Civil Service are being posted or have their resumé included in the corporate EEO database are required to re-register for the EEO Program using the e-Recruitment module.

Using the e-Recruitment module and the EEO program on-line registration has many advantages, candidates can now:

- Create and update their e-resumé and EEO information at their leisure.
- Have their e-résumé included in the corporate EEO database.
- Register with the EEO program's e-mail competition service.
- Apply on-line for competition using their e-résumé.

The corporate EEO Database is used by authorized Human Resource Personnel in government departments to search for EEO registered candidate's e-résumés when attempting to fill temporary, short term or regular positions in their respective departments.

The first thing you will need to do before you can register on-line for the EEO program is to create an account with e-Recruitment. Once you have created an e-Recruitment account, you will be able to create and save your electronic resumé and register on-line with the EEO program.

To create an account on e-Recruitment and register on-line please click here: https://www.ere.gnb.ca/Registration.aspx

Upon submitting your registration, your EEO status will show "Under Review" in the EEO Program Registration section of your e-resume. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a letter confirming your status with the program and your status will be updated accordingly on your e-resume.

If you have any question regarding the EEO program, please visit: www.gnb.ca/0163/eeo/eeo-e.asp or contact the Official Languages and Workplace Equity Branch of the Office of Human Resources by e-mail: EEO-EAE@gnb.ca or at 453-2264.
